This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you use TempConvert (“the site”), and how it is used.

Information you enter

Temperatures you type into the converters are processed only in your own browser by JavaScript. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. Log handling and retention depend on the hosting provider.

Cookies and browser storage

The current site sets no cookies and loads no advertising or analytics scripts. It saves your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage and uses a service worker to cache site pages and assets for offline use. Entered temperatures are not saved by the site. You can remove these settings and cached files through your browser's site-data controls.

Advertising and analytics

No advertising or analytics services are currently enabled. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe the service and its data use before it is added.

Children

The site is suitable for general audiences, including students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
